Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Wasted Penguinz AB ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Wasted Penguinz community — the website, chat, calls, shop, and mobile app — you accept them.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details safe. You must be at least 16 to create an account. One person per account; don't impersonate others.

Community rules

Be decent. No harassment, hate speech, threats, spam, illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights. Our moderators may remove content, mute, or ban accounts that break these rules — including permanently for serious or repeated violations. You can report content or users through the in-app support system, and you can block any user.

Your content

What you post stays yours. By posting it you give us the licence needed to host and display it within the service. If you delete your account, your profile and private messages are removed; posts in public rooms remain, attributed to "Deleted user".

Purchases, subscriptions and donations

Merchandise orders, VIP subscriptions and donations are processed by our payment providers (Stripe, PayPal). VIP subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep the benefits until the end of the paid period. Donations support the community and any perks attached to them are granted immediately; by donating you agree that performance begins at once, so donations are not refundable except where the law requires. Merchandise purchases follow EU consumer law, including the 14-day right of withdrawal for physical goods.

The service

We work to keep the service online and safe, but it is provided "as is" — a community project, not a utility. We may change or discontinue features. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim; nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time (Profile → Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law.

Governing law

Swedish law applies. Disputes are handled by Swedish courts, without limiting the consumer protections of your country of residence. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's dispute resolution platform.

Changes

If we make material changes to these terms, we will announce them in the app and on the site before they take effect.
